A safe space to understand, heal, and grow
Hello, I am Yvaine. I’m a mental health counselor based in Seattle, Washington, dedicated to supporting adult clients navigating through the complexities of identity, belonging, relationships, and emotional wellbeing.
I believe that you are the expert on your own lived experience. My role is to collaborate with you to explore concerns, identify strengths, and support meaningful change at a pace that feels safe and empowering.
My integrative orientation includes:
• Adlerian Individual Psychology
• Attachment Theory
• Existentialism
• Mindfulness-based and somatic practices
• Narrative and cognitive-behavioral interventions
• Culturally responsive, trauma-informed care
Together, we might explore identity, strengthen relationships, build coping skills, or deepen self-understanding across emotional, cognitive, social, and existential dimensions. I hold space for both growth and discomfort, knowing that healing often involves courage, tenderness, and the willingness to look inward.
Education, Credentials, & Clinical Experiences
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (MC 61578492) in the state of Washington. I hold a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University, an institution recognized for its rigorous clinical training standards.
